Handful of dishwasher pods, tiny bottle of dish washing liquid. We came for almost 2 weeks, and there was only one garbage bag. br/br/A few issues I should point out (not deal breakers but any stretch of imagination, but could be improved by the property management team):br/- It would've been appreciated if the place was a little more stocked with the basics. The people in the community were so friendly, we and our kids made new friends. Parking situations is good, the pool and hot-tub were a big hit, along with the bbq area. The condo is in top shape, beautifully remodeled, clean, and perfectly located (2 minutes walk to a beach from which you can watch the most amazing sunsets). To be honest, I'm writing this with a heavy heart - I would love to keep this place our secret for the futures times we'll visit Maui. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Kihei Garden Estates is the place where you can relax in a family friendly setting just steps from the beach, shopping, grocery stores and markets, great restaurants, banking, medical services and more. Lounge in the oversized hot tub after an adventurous day of exploring all that Maui has to offer. The swimming pool is heated during the colder months not heated during the hot summer months. The pool area is a great place to relax in the sun and to go for a swim. You’ll find many “ONO” rated restaurants by the Maui Revealed Guidebook within walking distance.
Don’t feel like cooking? Try one of the local restaurants nearby. Serve your meals at the pub style seating or on the lanai or, make friends and have relaxing outdoor meal at the well-equipped BBQ pavilion by the pool. Times Market is within walking distance and offers a wide array of food and beverages to inspire your meals. The gourmet kitchen has upgraded appliances and new tools to enjoy meals at home.
There is a queen sleeper sofa with an upgraded memory foam mattress in the living room. The ceilings are high and the a/c is up at the top of the ceiling so it cools the loft really well. Split system air conditioning in the living room only.
